Europe selects Junior Eurovision Song Contest winner

By Inna Pilevich: The Junior Eurovision Song Contest was broadcast live on the TV channels Belarus 1 and Belarus 24. The winner, Mariam Mamadashvili of Georgia, was selected by national children and adult juries, as well as by a professional jury.

Following the voting, Alexander Minenok ended up in the 7th place with 177 points, the maximum number of points given to the Belarusian singer by the national juries of Russia and Israel. The young artist was actively supported at home, his fans organising a series of parties to watch the show together.

Alexander Minenok and his team are scheduled to arrive at Minsk National Airport tomorrow at 21:15.
