In Minsk, the writers from 7 countries, argue over the interpretation of the concept of "justice" and eternal values, which are encrypted in letters under the auspice of an international round table in the Palace of the Republic. The discussion takes place every year on the eve of the Day of Belarusian Written Language.  It features three dozens of authors, including Belarusian publicists, writers from Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

Vladimir Pertsov, Minister of Information of Belarus: In the epoch of devaluation of the printed word and the pursuit of commercial gain in book publishing, still there is mandatory list of literature that must be read.  In our country, such literature is determined every year; this is a list of socially significant literature. And our colleagues at the St. Petersburg forum this year came up and decided that this same list needs to be created because we are in the same information space, and maybe we can create a single list of works.

The reason for discussion is the bookshelf where experts from St. Petersburg and Belarus collected 12 works revealing justice. The Belarusian classical literature is represented by such authors as Shamyakin,  Kupala, Korotkevich and Cherginets. You'll be able to study the "sample" books with their quotations tomorrow in Dobrush, where the 29th Day of Belarusian Written Language will open.
