Today is one of the most intense days of the 27th Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk. The legendary arts festival officially kicks off this evening on the stage of the Summer Amphitheatre. The official flag of the cultural forum will be hoisted. In the Square of Stars, Rosa Rymbaeva will receive her star.
Also, today the winner of the International Children Music Contest will be announced and the draw for the semifinals of the Pop Song Performers Contest will be held.
Concerts already started in Vitebsk on Monday. Yesterday, Irina Allegrova presented her solo programme. The People's Artist of Russia sang both new songs and the all-time favorite hits of hers.
Today, Irina Allegrova will take part in the opening concert together with Emir Kusturica, Natalia Oreiro, Nikolay Baskov, Oleg Menshikov, Igor Nikolaev, Denis Maidanov, and the Turetsky Choir.
The grand opening will be broadcast by TV Channel Belarus 1 - right after Panorama at 22:00.
