Belarusfilm is shooting an action film based on Nikolai Cherginets’ novel Black Dog (Cherny Pes). The original script is a kind of collage of the author's prose adapted for the screen. The joint Belarus-Russia project is being filmed at the film studio’s new stage. Directed by Alexander Franskevich-Laie, the film is featuring famous actors, one of the main roles played by Vladimir Epifantsev.
The film is set in Minsk. Most of interior and location shooting will take place in Belarus’ territory. Production is planned to be completed by the end of the year.
