18-year-old Yana Shtangey to perform Esmeralda's variation at Eurovision Young Dancers in Gdansk

By Nina Mozheyko: During the contest every participant will perform one solo dance. Timing is no more than 1.5 minutes. The participant chooses music and style at his own discretion.


Yana Shtangey will perform Esmeralda's variation from the same-name ballet based on the novel Notre-Dame de Paris. One of stages of the contest is a contemporary dance. Within a week organizers and directors of the show will work with dancers. And on June 14 the participants will come on stage of the State Baltic Opera. And today a Belarusian film crew saw off a Belarusian delegation. The team of 5 persons will fly to Gdansk and then to the opening ceremony of the contest tonight. The TV Channel Belarus 1 will broadcast the Eurovision Young Dancers live next Friday at 9pm.
