The legendary ballet "Don Quixote" will be performed in the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus today. The 90th theater season saw premiere after premiere. This time, the People's Artiste of the USSR and Belarus Valentin Elizariyev modified his own version of the performance, which had been successfully performed for more than 30 years. Vyacheslav Okunev, the People's Artist of Russia, also breathed new life into the iconic story inspired by the novel by Servantes. He brought the production to an "antique" state - he made the atmosphere of the "old" theater. The performance was dressed up as an article, but the emphasis was not on pretentiousness, but on being outdone. The light will also accentuate the decoration. A separate brigade spent the whole week at the stage rehearsals setting all the necessary settings to make the class diamond shine.

A lot of young people will show up, which is especially valuable to me - when a lot of young people show up, it means the performance will live on. It will be the lightest and funniest performance. I think that the audience will go away from this performance in a very good mood and with a positive attitude, which is so little in life. I hope, due to my experience and professionalism, it will be a holiday.
This is the seventh variation of Don Quixote at the Bolshoi since 1941. There are no more tickets for the first and second performances today or tomorrow.
