The film aesthetes in Minsk are getting ready for the festival Listapad. Due to the expected stream of abuse towards the filmmakers, neither the films on the short list of the competition, nor the names of the invitees were announced at a large press conference today. The Listapad new organizing committee shared the first statistics: 68 competitive films from 30 countries. The nominations have not changed: they will choose the best feature film, documentary, youth film and film for children. Among the experts, there are 12 foreign jurors. For example, the best feature film from a list of 13 films (all foreign ones) will be chosen by the President of the Producers Guild of Russia Renat Davletiyarov. The Chairman of the festival is People's Artiste of Belarus Alexander Yefremov.
Tickets for Listapad to get on sale since November 12.
The organizers assure that Listapad will not be a platform to promote the services of the national film studio. All its work is first of all for the audience. The tickets for the shows will go on sale on November 12. The ticket prices range in the affordable framework from 4 to 7 rubles.
