Belarus takes part in UN summit on sustainable development

The summit was attended by Belarusian delegation led by President Lukashenko. The President made two speeches in the plenary session and exposed the Belarusian position on international agenda.

According to Belarus, the main responsibility of the nations is to stop war and export of chaos.

Grigory Ioffe, Professor of Redford University:

"I listened to the speech of the President. He was talking of elimination of legal governments in a number of states, creation of vacuum, which was filled with terrorists."

Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus:

"Ukrainian crisis. If you do not stop the bloodshed in Europe fratricidal slaughter, prevent the escalation of the conflict, it will be hot in the whole civilized world. We must not make one more step towards global conflict and possibly a new world war."

The United Nations supported the Minsk Agreement, thereby putting them in a universal system of law. Ban Ki-Moon thanked Belarus for its mission in the Ukrainian crisis settlement. In global diplomacy Minsk became a symbol of peace.

As a founding member of the UN, Belarus has a full right to demand implementation of its charter.

Belarus also took an active part in the adoption of 17 global priorities.

Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus: 

"If we avoid dangerous opposition of integration models, we will be able to create a global integration structure uniting various regions and continents."

The official Minsk and IMF are going to pass a new financial programme. Besides Belarus is enhancing its contacts with Pakistan, India and China.

Important meetings were held with the leaders of Cuba and Ecuador.

New atmosphere of dialogue established in our relations with the EU.

Vladimir Makei, the Belarusian Foreign Minister: 

"At the moment we have real chances to establish normal relations with the EU and the USA."

Rani Hong, UN Special Advisor: 

"Your country did a great job, and I am happy to deal with a country which is that attentive to the problem of human rights".

Belarus in the UN is a principled and consistent supporter of real democracy, traditional values ​​and humanism.

Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus:

"I'll be honest: we are very concerned about ongoing processes in some countries, the destruction of the traditional family. Especially we do not like, when we are asked to accept certain deviations from the norms of morality and various social "innovations" as natural. We will do everything we can so that our grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their descendants kept moral values, good traditions of spirituality and culture. With full confidence I can assure everyone that anarchy, lawlessness and violence had no place in the Belarusian land, under any slogans, including democracy. Stable Belarus will continue to be a donor to regional and international security. "
