On Monday morning the Palace of Independence brought together the new leaders of diplomatic missions. 11 representatives of the countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and South America gathered for a significant official ceremony of presenting credentials.
Alexander Lukashenko stressed that official Minsk is always open for partners and ready for any mutually beneficial projects.
This year the Belarusian capital hosted two important international forums: the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Central European Initiative (where Belarus holds the first presidency) and the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
This is an effective platform for strengthening stability and security in the region. The project "Helsinki-2" could become a global, controversial structure. According to the President, the official Minsk is interested in this initiative being implemented.
The issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed by President Alexander Lukashenko with each of the diplomats. Trade expansion and deepening of investment ties are going to successful inter-state relations.
By the way, our country maintains trade relations with more than 190 states.
