Minsk has been awarded in the Top 2 Major European Cities of the Future – Cost Effectiveness and Top 10 Major European City of the Future - FDI Strategy categories of the Financial Times’ fDi Magazine.
The ranking, comprised of over 220 cities and based on such parameters as economic potential, human resources and infrastructure quality, also features high-ranked Kiev, Prague, Bucharest, Warsaw and Cologne.
The awards were presented personally to Minsk Mayor Andrei Shorets in Cannes. The ceremony was attended by Ambassador of Belarus to France Pavel Latushko.
