President of Azerbaijan to visit Minsk on November 19

Tomorrow the President of Azerbaijan will visit Minsk, and during the week the Head of State discussed the details of the upcoming visit with the ambassador of this republic. Countries do not have closed topics. Presidents support each other on the world stage.

Alexander Lukashenko touched upon the topic of the CSTO summit in Astana last week. The head of state did not hide his surprise as to why the topic of the change of the Secretary General caused such heated discussion. After all, the main issue at the summit was the question of the foreign policy situation around the CSTO countries. And the decision on the new head of the organization will be made at a meeting in St. Petersburg on December 6th.

Discussed and economic issues. Belarus and Azerbaijan managed to overcome the decline in mutual trade. Thus, in the first nine months of this year, trade has tripled and exceeded $ 330 million.

Alexander Lukashenko sees good prospects for the development of trade with Turkey. The President said this at a meeting with the chairman of the Grand National Assembly of this country. The focus was primarily on economic issues.

Another example of how good relationships are not a hindrance distance. The Egyptian parliamentary delegation visited Belarus this week. In 5 days the delegation visited many enterprises of the country, the result of which became quite specific agreements on cooperation. By the way, the visit of the Egyptian President to Belarus is scheduled for the first half of next year.
