Foreign exchange reserves in Belarus are growing for the third month in a row. They increased by $89 million in April and amounted to $8.442 million in equivalent as of May 1. The corresponding data were published by the National Bank.
The largest share in the structure of international reserve assets are assets in foreign currency (more than $3 billion) and monetary gold, more than $4 billion.
According to the main guidelines of monetary policy, the volume of international reserve assets of Belarus should amount to at least $6 billion at the end of the year.
