Employment remains the crucial criterion for assessing the work of Belarus government. As announced today by Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov during his working trip to Logoisk District, the Government expects to create 70,000 new jobs.

The so-called "liberal" package of documents for entrepreneurs is expected to promote the creation of new jobs. Among the documents are Decree No. 7 signed by the President, as well as a number of decrees on the development of small and medium businesses. The main thing is to make the most of these documents. Local authorities are expected to be actively engaged in the process of implementation, too. Executive committees should actively work on promoting the new simplified approaches to doing business in the country.

Andrei Kobyakov, the Prime Minister of Belarus:

"Now the most important task is to implement all the new documents. We have worked very hard to prepare these documents. It took a long time. But I stress that it's only 10% of the entire work that needs to be done. The rest of the work is expected to be done in 2018-2019, so that the task of creating 70,000 jobs in new enterprises is complete."

Logoisk District is an example of successful business planning. Today, Andrei Kobyakov visited a number of local private enterprises, including the country's first horse farm, where they produce mare milk, as well as a sheep breeding complex. The companies plan to actively expand and recruit new staff. The government is ready to discuss measures to support the new dairy producers, the Prime Minister promised.
