World Bank improves forecast for economy of Belarus in 2023

The World Bank has significantly improved its forecast for Belarus' GDP dynamics this year. According to estimates, the Belarusian economy will show a 0.6% growth instead of the previously announced (in the January review) fall of 2.3%. This follows from the organization's report on the prospects of economic development in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. According to the bank's estimates, foreign trade will also show positive dynamics. The exports of goods and services will increase by 3.5%.
