By Svetlana Lukyaniuk: The World Bank has released a new report. It indicates states that this year Belarus’ economic indicators will grow by more than 2%, and will continue to improve still further.

The report also forecasts that for the first time after the financial crisis the world economy will work this year almost at its fullest. This means that Belarus can expect an even greater revival for its enterprises that export goods to foreign markets. Hence, the profits from international trade should significantly strengthen the country’s GDP.

The contribution to the country’s budget is also expected from small businesses. Its share in the GDP should grow to 40%. Now it is about 25%.

The liberal package of documents, signed late last year, should serve as an incentive for the development of entrepreneurship in the country.

Also, starting this year, entrepreneurs can start their own business with a single tax, on a declarative principle and not be distracted by inspections. All these benefits for business are enshrined in Ordinance No. 7 and Decrees of the President.

The business climate in the country, new businesses and the development of competition will be discussed soon on business forums. In late February, the Belarusian Week of Entrepreneurship and the Assembly of Business Circles of Belarus will open in Minsk.
