IMF mission begins work in Minsk

Economic policy measures in Belarus will become the central topic of a meeting of International Monetary Fund experts in Minsk. Apart from evaluating economic priorities, the new IMF mission is aimed at analysing the authorities' plans for implementing reforms in Belarus.

Previously, the Finance Ministry said that the country counted on a new credit support programme with the participation of the IMF. Belarus has fulfilled all the obligations under the previous loan.
