Proposals to optimise conditions for transport business in Belarus are currently being worked on, as announced by Minister of Transport and Communications Anatoly Sivak. According to him, about 250 regulations for the transport business are planned to be abolished or simplified. It has been proposed to soften requirements for transport operators in terms of licenses.

Increasing Belarus’ transit attractiveness is another priority of the Transport Ministry. Using Minsk Ring Road 2 is not planned to be charged. Its construction has paid off: an investment belt has formed around the capital for the economy to develop through industrial, commercial and other facilities.
