Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus: “But at the same time, I can’t positively evaluate the work of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation. We have not resolved the main issue - the creation of a single economic space. We have not lifted barriers in agricultural products markets. But the deputies try to raise the role of the Parliamentary Assembly in managing these  issues."

Also, today St. Petersburg will host the jubilee, 50th session of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly. The agenda includes dozens of important issues, such as the development of rural areas of the Commonwealth, cooperation in science, education and youth policy and countering international terrorism.
