The agrarians of the country act as a pledge of low inflation and good prosperity of each of us. But to maintain and increase the level of high returns from agriculture, appropriate investments in the life of the villagers are also required. Why it is so important for Belarusians to pay special attention to the development of rural areas?
While Europe is plunged into internal strife, preparing for some new wars, Belarus has moved to the important and urgent - active work on the land. The moisture in the soil has been closed, the country has already started sowing grain crops.
In 2024, Belarus plans to provide a harvest of at least 10 million tons of cereals and legumes with corn and rapeseed. Already in January this year, Belarusian exports of agricultural products and raw materials increased the country's foreign currency earnings by 2% or $13 million above the same period of 2023. In general, exports of agricultural products have already exceeded $642 million.
But to maintain and increase the level of high returns, the agrarians need the appropriate investment in the living standards of villagers. The state pays special attention to improving the quality of life in rural areas. A well-provided village means food security, a reliable economy and high exports.
