This year’s harvesting campaign is expected to have a positive effect on the financial situation of farms, the Ministry of Agriculture reports. It will be possible due to an increase in the output of agricultural products. At the moment, about 30% of agricultural organizations in Belarus are unprofitable, and 240 farms are in the process of reorganization. Upon completing harvesting, these farms will become more confident, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Vladimir Grakun points out.
The government has created all the favourable conditions for work. For example, the state supports the working people financially. During the harvesting campaign, a combine operator can earn up to 140BYN per day, and a driver can earn up to 70 BYN. For machine operators, two-meals a day are provided.
