By Alexei Kondratenko: The manufacturer of electric trains Stadler-Minsk expands geography of its products supply. Inter-regional business class trains will soon "stand on the rails" of Moscow and Azerbaijan. Business Class line will connect Minsk with Gomel. The train has a spacious lounge, Wi-Fi, areas for people with disabilities and passengers with bicycles, as well as a bar. This is a format of business and economy class. Such production reinforces the export potential of the country. At the same time, as the President of Belarus stressed, our country gives preferences to companies that create high-tech and competitive products. The principles of Stadler are diversification of markets, maximum utilization of the plant and investment.
There are also plans of participation in tenders for the procurement of train cars for Minsk subway and the production of trams. Prototypes of urban transport with a cute name Blizzard is already on the test drive.
