Sales of tractors through the trade and service center of Belarus in Astrakhan, opened in October 2022, have doubled. This was stated by Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko after a meeting with the governor.

A delegation of the Belarusian government is on a visit to the Russian region. Today they decided that the line of goods in this center will become wider. In particular, there will be various attachments for sowing, processing and harvesting potatoes. These units will be in demand and will lead to an increase in sales. Agribusiness in the region is actively developing.

Roman Golovchenko, Prime Minister of Belarus:

“Belarusian baby food has entered the Astrakhan market very well. It has actually taken up one third of the total consumption volume. I hope that the demography will improve, there will be more children, respectively, and the demand for baby food will grow. Therefore, Igor Babushkin quite reasonably raises the issue of producing here dairy products from Belarusian dried milk using our experience and technologies. A feasibility study for such a project will be developed. We will see how cost-effective and efficient it will be economically.”

Igor Babushkin, Governor of the Astrakhan region of Russia:

“I am sure that the interaction that has been established today between the Astrakhan region and the Republic of Belarus will lead us to the realization of new projects. We have great prospects from the point of view of utilization of the Belarusian oil and gas industry.”
