Many countries today have to fight for their place under the sun in the conditions of geopolitical turbulence. We know from our own experience. Belarus operates in the world markets under serious pressure.

How our aviation industry is coping in this difficult environment was discussed at the level of the President this week. The conversation took place at the airport. An important emphasis was made. It is always possible to find a way out of any situation, and the state will not leave its enterprises in trouble. As for the air harbor, the traffic has decreased: first the pandemic, then the sanctions.

The example of the airport is somewhat illustrative. It is difficult, but possible, to work under restrictive conditions. And although there are plenty of problems, they are not going to give up on modernization. The airport must be modern, technologically advanced and comfortable. Time and passengers demand it. The President was informed about the plans. Alexander Lukashenko believes that everything should be economical and well thought out, developed for the future. By the way, there is a civil aviation plant on the territory of Minsk-2. The President has wanted to visit it for a long time. They are engaged in repair and maintenance of airplanes. They work in three niches at once - they are engaged in modernization of old Soviet, new Russian and Western aircrafts.
