President Almazbek Atambayev has signed a law on Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union. A document on the ratification of relevant treaties was adopted by the country’s Parliament yesterday. According to Atambayev, joining the EAEU will open up new opportunities for Kyrgyzstan’s economy and give further impetus to a more dynamic development.
The country’s official accession to the EAEU will take place after all the participating countries ratify the accession agreement, which, as Bishkek hopes, will happen this summer.
