Prime Minister of Belarus meets with chairman of Export-Import Bank of China

Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov expressed his gratitude to Chairman of Export-Import Bank of China, Ms. Hu Xiaolian, for the support of joint investment projects. In addition, China has confirmed its intention to allocate additional 3 billion dollars in preferential loans and 4 billion dollars - in the form of commercial loans to Belarusian banks. These resources will be used to finance projects in priority sectors of the economy: infrastructure construction, social sphere, as well as the development of small and medium-sized businesses

Andrei Kobyakov, the Prime Minister of Belarus: "Belarus has a great potential for the development of import loans. Our country is pursuing the policy of active technological upgrading of enterprises and the creation of modern industries."

The Prime Minister emphasized that the Export-Import Bank is the undisputed leader in financing of Belarusian-Chinese projects.
