Veronica Buta: This new transport corridor from Asia to Europe is part of the economic belt of the Silk Road. The cars carry building materials for the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park.
The train was traveling for 16 days through China, Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus. Reducing the time of delivery will ensure the effectiveness of construction.
The arrival of the train is the opening of the first freight rail route between the regions of China and Europe.
Alexander Yaroshenko, Deputy Minister of Economy of Belarus, the incumbent head of the Administration of Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park "Great Stone":
"The Silk Road itself is one of the main transport corridors for delivery of products between Europe and China, Asia."
By the way, several Belarusian companies have already expressed their desire to cooperate with the park residents.
The route will help to transport components, spare parts, medicinal raw materials and electronics.
