Pavel Kallaur: Confidence in national currency growing in Belarus

In Belarus, the confidence in the national currency is growing, said head of the National Bank Pavel Kallaur. He notes that it is necessary to maximize the use of the Belarusian ruble by all participants of economic relations. Last year, the share of deposits in rubles increased by 6 percentage points. The demand for credit resources in the national currency from the corporate sector was also increasing, while the interest in loans in dollars and euros was decreasing. The dynamics of transition to the national currency is intensifying, including in foreign trade settlements.
