Belarus is developing cooperation with Russia in terms of transportation.
Almost 2 million Belarusians and Russians used direct flights between Minsk and Russian cities last year. The same passenger traffic was transported also by rail. This was told to ATN correspondents by Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Dmitri Krutoy. He is confident that this year we'll fly more often.
Special attention will be paid to the Siberian regions. New non-stop routes are both help for business and the development of tourism. After all, more and more residents of the two countries choose the cities of Belarus and Russia as a vacation and excursion. So the work on attracting Russian carriers will continue.
