The joint plans were discussed during the meeting of the Chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Turchin with the head of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin. In 2019, ties were strengthened after the signing of a cooperation agreement. Since then, the trade turnover has managed to increase. Last year, the parties traded more than 17 million dollars. New prospects have also emerged with a focus on import substitution.
