Belarus Foreign Ministry launches new instruments of financial support for exporters

As stated at the annual meeting of the heads of the enterprises at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry launched new instruments of financial support for exporters.

Exporters will be compensated for half of the costs of participating in international exhibitions. Among other proposals is the initiative to reimburse the expenses for the certification of goods abroad.

The participants of the meeting also discussed the possible visit of the President to Serbia this year. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted Minsk is planning to expand production cooperation with Belgrade.

Last year, the trade turnover with Serbia amounted to about 240 million dollars. This year, it continues to grow. The two countries also plan to set up an assembly production of combines and to open trading houses. The Foreign Ministry is currently working on a new economic programme.
