Olga Kholodovich: Over 140 countries, 10 international organizations and 30 corporations are present at EXPO-2015, one of the oldest and the world's largest international industrial exhibitions held since 1851. For the first time it was held in London. And this year the venue for Expo is Milan.
The delegation of Gomel region returned from Milan with specific agreements and investment projects.
They involve collaboration of Gomel Oblast Executive Committee and the Italian consortium, a tripartite agreement between Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce, Administration of FEZ "Gomel-Raton" and Italian consulting company. It is expected that the volume of investments for the project ending 2020 could reach about two million dollars.
Vincenzo Trani, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in Naples: "I am happy to invest this money to Belarus. Our investments in Belarus are increasing every day really, we attract many investors, stimulate investment in the Republic of Belarus."
Belarus Pavilion at Expo-2015 in Milan occupies 700 square meters and is styled as a water mill. It includes a Belarusian cuisine restaurant, a souvenir shop, playground for performances of creative groups and rooms for business meetings. For six months, their products will be represented by a delegation from Minsk and all regions of Belarus.
