In order to gain a more serious foothold in the south of Russia, Belarus will create a multi-brand trade and service center in Stavropol. This was announced by President Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with Governor of Stavropol region of Russia Vladimir Vladimirov, BelTA informs.

Speaking about industrial cooperation, Alexander Lukashenko noted the large volume of Belarusian agricultural machinery used in Stavropol. "As you noted when you hosted our ambassador to Russia Dmitry Nikolaevich Krutoy two weeks ago, it is 56% for tractors and almost 10% for combines. But we have big plans. We decided to get a firm foothold in the south of Russia, which has predominantly agricultural specialization of the economy, and to create a multi-brand trade and service center in Stavropol," the head of state said. According to him, such a center will allow the agrarians and communal workers of the region to get better acquainted with the range of products of Belarusian manufacturers, to purchase the machines of interest without unnecessary intermediaries and to receive professional services in a timely manner.
