Vitebsk region’s forestry farms start collecting birch sap

By Marina Romanovskaya: The Vitebsk region’s forestry farms have started collecting birch sap. This year, the harvesting in the country’s northern region started earlier than usual due to a warm spring. The first batch has already been submitted to processing enterprises.

A total of about 1,500 tons of birch sap is planned to be collected in the region. The natural product enjoys great popularity not only in Belarus, but also abroad.
