Head of Tajikistan visits Minsk Tractor Plant

Yesterday, Alexander Lukashenko and Emomali Rahmon held talks in the Palace of Independence. The leader of Tajikistan is paying an official visit to Belarus. Meetings of the politicians are regular and very productive. All scheduled arrangements are executed on time including high-profile projects: the gardens of the Belarusian-Tajik Friendship and joint ventures for the assembly of tractors and the production of dairy products. Now it will be easier for the countries to embody ambitious plans. After all, a new level of interaction has been established! Minsk and Dushanbe are strategic partners now. The countries have a roadmap of cooperation up to the year 2020, but at the end of the visit it was updated. 11 documents were signed activating interregional, innovative cooperation and interaction in the agro-industrial complex. In addition, our country is ready to transfer its technologies and train personnel in various areas both in Belarus and Tajikistan. In memory of the meeting the politicians exchanged gifts.

Today, the head of Tajikistan visited the Minsk Tractor Plant. Emomali Rahmon visited the exhibition area. He saw the best examples of domestic technology. As a result, a number of agreements were reached. In particular, Belarus plans to supply 150 electric buses and 1,000 tractors to Tajikistan.
