Belarus’ delegation is scheduled to leave for Geneva today to hold talks on WTO accession, which will be the first round of a full-fledged dialogue between the official Minsk and World Trade Organisation representatives. A specialised working group will also hold the 8th meeting to discuss Belarus’ foreign trade regime issues. Apart from that, the Belarusian delegation is scheduled to hold bilateral negotiations with a number of WTO members. By the way, some WTO countries have already submitted applications to increase quotas for the duty-free imports of Belarusian products and reduce customs duties.
