2 октября 2014

The largest Belarusian-Polish economic forum Neighbourhood is held in Brest. Businessmen, economists, officials discuss two main issues: technical and legal infrastructure on the Belarusian-Polish border, as well as business development in the EU and the Eurasian Economic Community.

Vyacheslav Reut, the first deputy chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce: The task of the forum is to raise the issues that impede the development of bilateral trade between the Eurasian Union and the EU. And we will prepare their proposals to the Government of the Republic of Belarus. I think the Polish side will also take into account the wishes of businessmen.

Today matchmaking between Polish and Belarusian businessmen will take place. By the way, last year the trade turnover between the two countries increased by 20%. Only in the Brest region there is more than 250 companies with Polish capital.
