Belarus’ Agriculture Ministry in collaboration with American colleagues is developing a strategy for domestic agricultural products to enter US federal trade networks. A Belarusian delegation headed by Agriculture and Food Minister Leonid Zayats is currently visiting the United States to meet with the US Deputy Minister of Agriculture and representatives of business and trade companies. The sides will discuss the expansion of Belarusian product supplies to the US market, as well as training Belarusian staff at American universities and farms.
Last year, the Agriculture Ministry’s companies exported goods worth more than 2.5 million dollars to the United States, which is almost twice as much as in 2013.
