Today the session of the Belarusian-German Business Cooperation Council was held. Within its framework, the Memorandum "The Single Economic Space from Lisbon to Vladivostok" was signed. The idea of creating an association is not new. The main economic support of the European Union is Germany, in the East leaders are Russia and China. Between the regions there is an active trade turnover. The goal of Belarus, as part of the Silk Road, is to become the leading logistics hub.

Sergei Novitsky, co-chairman of the Belarusian-German business cooperation council: "We are focused on the machine-building sector, agriculture and logistics, therefore, the main areas that I see in the near future of the development of Belarusian-German relations are engineering."

Now the concept of the new union is being worked out. In Germany, we are convinced that after several years of joint work in Belarus, a significant increase in exports is expected.
