Alexander Lukashenko empowered the government to negotiate on oil issues with Kazakhstan. The corresponding decree was signed by the President. This decision was made in the framework of the diversifying policy. Belarus develops various geographic directions for the import of hydrocarbon raw materials and logistics. The Belarusian leader has repeatedly mentioned Kazakhstan among the countries where it is potentially possible to buy oil. This issue was discussed in October last year during the official visit of Alexander Lukashenko to Kazakhstan.
