Belarus is the fourth country in the world in terms of cheese export and third among the world's oil exporters, followed by United States and Australia. Belarusian farmers are opening new markets on all continents, as pointed out by Deputy Agriculture Minister at a regional Dozhinki festival in Voronovo. The event brought together hundreds of the Grodno region’s best agricultural equipment operators, agronomists, livestock breeders and agricultural production cooperative managers, whose joint work has added up over 900 million dollars to the region’s budget this year.
Agricultural year results have also been summed up in Rogachev. This year, Gomel region farmers have harvested over 1.2 million tons of grain, more than 360 crews harvesting 1,000 tons each.
