9.5% percent from August 14: National Bank reduces refinancing rate

The new level of the key rate for the country is a historical minimum. The decision was made today by the Board of the National Bank following the meeting on monetary policy. After a week the credits will be calculated on the basis of the updated rates. It was noted that in the second quarter inflation slowed down, prices rose within 5 % level. The external risks have decreased. This allowed the reduction of the refinancing rate by half a percent.
