Prosecutor's Office establishes consequences of strike of workers at Belaruskali

The Prosecutor's Office establishes negative economic consequences of the strike of workers of Belaruskali. Prosecutor of Minsk Region Sergey Khmaruk told the journalists about this. The court declared the miners' strike illegal. The amount of damage caused to the enterprise is being investigated. In accordance with the law, participants in an illegal strike can be prosecuted.

Also, Administrative liability is given to employees who participated in an illegal strike and interfered with the work of other employees by their actions. It is also possible that criminal proceedings may be instituted, if it turns out that someone has forced people to take part in the strike by means of violence or threats. The Prosecutor's Office noted that the work on studying the legality of workers' refusals to perform their work duties will continue.
