More than two thousand tourists were blocked on Bali because of the eruption of the volcano Agung. The situation in the region was commented on by the Ambassador of Belarus in Indonesia. Valery Kolesnik noted that the situation on the island is complex. In the morning the volcano threw out another column of ash. In connection with this, the airport was closed: almost 200 international flights were canceled. Hotels provide all tourists with free accommodation until they leave the island. The Embassy of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country strongly recommends that citizens refrain from visiting the region. The Belarusians did not apply for help to the embassy. If necessary, they will be supported.
