Radio "Belarus" and Euskirchen Broadcasting Center expand cooperation!

International Radio "Belarus" under Belteleradiocompany and Shortwaveservice (Euskirchen Broadcasting Center, Germany) are expanding their cooperation to retransmit original content in foreign languages to foreign audiences: from July 3, Radio "Belarus" programs will be added to the rebroadcasting package and in English.

Since 2009, the broadcasting capabilities of Shortwaveservice have been used to provide foreign listeners with information and analytical materials on the most important international events related to the Republic of Belarus, the main events in the socio-political, socio-economic and cultural life of the country, and the development of cooperation between Belarus and European region. 

Now, Shortwaveservice will daily rebroadcast the programs of the International Radio "Belarus" not only in German, French and Spanish, but also in English. The volume of English-language broadcasting will be two hours a day.

Thanks to cooperation with Euskirchen Broadcasting Center, the potential audience of Radio Belarus will rise by 350 million people. Programs at 6005 kHz from the Kall-Krekel radio station in Germany are available in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Northern Algeria and Tunisia. 

International Radio "Belarus" has been broadcasting since 1962. The total daily volume of original broadcasting is 26 hours in nine languages. The programs are dedicated to the political, economic and socio-cultural life of our country.
