Belarus 1 and satellite Belarus 24, as well as website of Belteleradiocompany www.tvr.by will broadcast the 18th Junior Eurovision Song Contest live on November 29 at 7 pm. The current music forum under the slogan "#MoveTheWorld" will be held in an unusual format. Our country will be represented by Arina Pehtereva from Mogilev with composition "Aliens".Young participants from 12 countries: Belarus, Germany, Georgia, Spain, Kazakhstan, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine and France will present their stage performances, recorded by specialists from national broadcasters this Sunday, taking into account the unified recommendations and rules of the European Broadcasting Union. Arina Pehtereva's performance, according to the draw, will be shown live No. 5.
According to the decision of the EBU, due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the world, the communication of the contestants with the multi-million audience of the project will take place in the format of live TV bridges. A thematic green room, built in the same style for all participating countries, will be organized for Arina Pehtereva and her creative team at Belteleradiocompany.
The best song of the Junior Eurovision 2020 will be chosen by both TV viewers and representatives of the national jury from each of the participating countries, and the votes of viewers and professionals will be distributed in a 50/50 ratio to determine the winner.
Online spectator voting for the best composition of the competition will open on the official website of the junioreurovision.tv project on November 27 and will last until the start of the final show on November 29. An additional opportunity to vote for the performers will appear for viewers within 15 minutes after the performances of all the contestants are shown live. The rules of the competition allow the possibility of voting for a representative of their country, and therefore the sincere support of Arina Pehtereva by Belarusians will become tangible when summing up the results.
