Representative of Belarus Helena Meraai will be the fifth to take the stage and perform her song I Am The One in the finals of the International Junior Eurovision Song Contest-2017. This became known during the draw, which took place after the opening ceremony of the music forum.
As a result of the draw, young artists will come on the stage of the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi on November 26 in the following order: 1. Cyprus; 2. Poland; 3. The Netherlands; 4. Armenia; 5. Belarus; 6. Portugal; 7. Ireland; 8. Macedonia; 9. Georgia; 10. Albania; 11. Ukraine; 12. Malta; 13. Russia; 14. Serbia; 15. Australia; 16. Italy.
Belarusians will be able to vote in support of Helena Meraai on November 24 at the official website of the contest www.junioreurovision.tv. The European Broadcasting Union has changed the rules of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest-2017. This year voting will be held on the Internet. It will begin on Friday and will end right before the concert on Sunday, November 26. After the performance of all the contestants, the voting will open again, but only for 15 minutes.
The show of the 15th song contest will begin at 18:00 Minsk time. The broadcast of Junior Eurovision-2017 will traditionally be held by the channels Belarus 1 and Belarus 24. Journalist of the TV News Agency of the media holding Yevgeny Perlin will be commenting on the contest.
