Belarus may influence European policy of sports TV broadcasting in Europe

For the first time in the history of domestic television, a Belarusian entered the Sport Committee of the European Broadcasting Union. This is director of the sports channel of the media holding Pavel Bulatsky.

At the EBU Assembly in Geneva, the director of the TV channel Belarus 5 Pavel Bulatsky along with representatives of France, Ireland and Bulgaria was elected to the special Sport Committee, which forms the television policy of the European companies. The chairman of the committee will be Sven Lescuyer from Norway.

The director of Belarus 5 Pavel Bulatsky is sure: "The right to vote in a weighty sports management structure means the confidence of Europe, a great achievement for the whole country and, at the same time, a huge responsibility for us. Our channel is only 5 years old, but I think it will cope with the mission entrusted to it".

For reference: Pavel Bulatsky was born in 1976 in Minsk, he graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Belarusian State University, the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus, he is the multiple winner of the national competition "Televershina", one of the creators and director of TV channel Belarus 5.
