Belteleradiocompany continues to accept applications for participation in national qualifying round for Junior Eurovision-2019, which will be held on November 24 in Gliwice (Poland). The last day for applications is August 15.

This year, applications for participation are submitted exclusively in electronic form on the website of the media holding www.tvr.by. This form of presentation of compositions and mandatory documents positively proved itself during the national selection for adult Eurovision-2019.

The selection is carried out in accordance with the regulations developed by Belteleradiocompany and the competition rules established by the European Broadcasting Union. Regulations on the national selection of Junior Eurovision-2019 are posted on the website www.tvr.by in "Special projects" section.

All applicants, who are citizens of the Republic of Belarus or foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the territory of Belarus for at least two and a half years, must be at least 9 and not more than 14 years old at the date of the international competition. The selection may include a song consisting of lyrics in Belarusian and (or) Russian, using a foreign language (but not more than 40 % of the text) and music that have not been commercially used, as well as performed publicly in whole or in part until May 1, 2019. The project participant must have property rights to the song (music and text), arrangement and phonogram of the song (public performance, recording, processing, broadcast to the air and cable, communication to the public and other ways of use).

According to the results of the qualifying round, which will be summed up by a professional jury not later than August 20, from 7 to 10 junior performers will be chosen to participate in the final of the project.

All rights related to the selection process belong exclusively to the organizer - Belteleradiocompany, as the only member of the European Broadcasting Union in our country.
