On November, 30, an open audition will be held at BTRC for applicants for the National qualifying round of the International television song contest Eurovision-2017. The official website of BTRC www.tvr.by will hold live broadcast from the studio of the media holding.
The audition will be held in live sound mode with music and (or) phonogram recorded without vocals of any kind or any vocal imitations.
This year, the audition will be held for all applicants whose applications have been submitted in accordance with the requirements specified in the Regulations. Both solo artists and bands, not only from Belarus, but also from other countries, can participate in the audition.
Today is the last day to submit an application. In accordance with the Regulations, the last day to send packages is November 22, 2016.
It is worth noting that traditionally applicants send their parcels in the last days of acceptance of applications and this year was no exception. Therefore BTRC allows for a few days to let all parcels sent in a timely manner reach the address of the media holding and be considered by the organizers.
On November, 30, at 12.00, potential participants of the Song Forum will present their compositions for the professional jury. In accordance with the Regulation no more than fifteen names of finalists will be announced on the same day in the evening.
The final selection will take place no later than on January 25, 2017, in the format of a TV show. The participant of the finals with the highest number of points received from the jury and audience becomes the winner of the project and the official representative of the Republic of Belarus at the international song contest Eurovision-2017 in Kiev (Ukraine).
The organizer of the National qualifying round is the major media holding of the country. The selection round is carried out in accordance with the organizer’s Regulation and the Competition Rules, established by the European Broadcasting Union.
