LITESOUND - is the Belarusian rock band founded in 2005 by brothers Dmitry and Vladimir Karyakin. The guys take part in different music projects, cooperate with leading Belarusian and foreign composers and singers as arrangers, songwriters, producers.

The carrier of the brothers of Dmitry and Vladimir Karyakin started with an acoustic duet in 2002. Their talent was repeatedly awarded at different art contests (they are prize-winners at "MOVA Songwriter's Competition 2002" (USA) and "Modern Rock Bands Competition" (China).

The guys started performing as "LITESOUND" in 2005. The band became a successful project and its music has become well-known not only in Belarus, but outside the country as well. Their songs took high positions in national charts.

LITESOUND took the 1st place at "Festival Internazionale di Maiori" in Italy in 2006. In autumn the band LITESOUND won the "Ambasovische 2007" festival.

Since 2006 LITESOUND has participated in the TV music project of Belteleradiocompany "Eurofest" 4 times in a row (the Belarusian selection for the International Eurovision Song Contest). The band was 2nd in TV voting twice, and it was admitted to the final in 2008 and 2009.

In 2007 a new song, entitled "Solo Per Te", became popular in Belarusian and Italian airwaves. It was recorded jointly with the Italian star - Jacopo Massa – and became a real hit. "Solo Per Te" was the first in national charts of Italy for 20 weeks.

In 2008 a debut album of LITESOUND - "Going to Hollywood" - was released. It reached the 3rd position in music album's sale list of Belarus in 25 days. "The Life" song from the debut album of the band obtained the award of the "Ringtone of the Year" in 2009. LITESOUND's songs were twice honored with the "The Song of the Year of Belarus" award.

LITESOUND band together with Italian singer Jacopo Massa presented Belarus at the international contest of young pop singers "New Wave" in 2010 in Jurmala (Latvia).

In 2010 LITESOUND's video "Solo Per Te" was included in TOP-10 list of best videos in the countries of CIS and Baltic states. In 2011 LITESOUND's video "See You in Vegas" was honored at the National Music Award in the category "Best Video of the Year", and received an award in the category of "Best Belarusian Video of the Year" of the Alternative music award "Ultra-Music Awards 2011".

Meanwhile, LITESOUND continues to scale new music heights. The band performs both in Belarus and abroad, takes part in various TV projects, communicates with their fans. Official fan clubs exist not only in Belarus, but also in Latvia, Italy, Russia, the United Stated of America, Ukraine and others. The number of fan clubs grows every day.

At the end of 2011 LITESOUND performing "We Are The Heroes" participated in the TV Music Project of Belteleradiocompany "Eurofest" and reached TOP-5. The band entered the final of the project. After all, LITESOUND was acknowledged as the winner and will officially represent Belarus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku (Azerbaijan).
